The News, alumni receive Ky. Press Association awards

Student staff members of The Murray State News won 22 awards at the annual Kentucky Press Association newspaper competition in the University division.

The News placed third overall behind the College Heights Herald and the Kentucky Kernel.

The News staff was second in Best Newspaper Website, third in Best Special Section and honorable mention for Best Use of Multi/Social Media.
