Alumni can now help support The News

The Murray State News launched a new donation site in August.

The News is now revenue-dependent, meaning it relies on donations and advertising sales.
Alumni and friends can donate to The Murray State News through this website:
isupport.thenews.org.

The Murray State News announced changes this semester to move to a digital-first news
organization. Students will post content regularly to TheNews.org and will produce five monthly
tabloid-sized printed editions this fall.

The News employs students from the JMC department as well as from across the university.
These jobs prepare students for careers in the media.
