Alumni Update: David Barton Snow (JMC ’93)

Since last June, Snow has been staff writer for the Office of University Relations at the University of Tennessee at Martin. Prior to that he was a reporter with The Paducah Sun for nearly six years. Last January, Snow published the Governor’s Cup Region 1 Record Book, a compendium of records and statistics for high school academic teams from far western Kentucky that take part in the annual Governor’s Cup competitions. (It is a media guide fashioned after the sports media guides he created during his time at Murray State.) He is currently working on Volume 2 for the next school year, which will mark the 40th annual Governor’s Cup season. The season begins in January.
