PRSSA Members Bid Fond Farewell to Class of 2024 Graduating Seniors

It was a bittersweet ending to the semester as PRSSA held a ceremony to say goodbye to its graduating seniors. These seniors received their PRSSA cords from the chapter in recognition of their active
membership in PRSSA for two years or more.

Tori Pratt served as PRSSA Chapter President during the 2023-24 academic year. She graduated
with a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations with a minor in Marketing. She was involved in multiple organizations on campus, including the Residential College Council as the Social Chair, Publicity Coordinator for Campus Lights, and Editor for Sigma Alpha Iota.

“My favorite memory from being a part of this organization was the trip we took to Nashville
last spring. We visited Bauer Entertainment Marketing, and I fell in love with their work environment and eventually got an internship with them” said Pratt. After graduation, she plans to work in social media marketing.

Grace Elder served as PRSSA’s Public Relations for 2023-24 term. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Advertising and a minor in Management. During her time at Murray State she participated in the Tri Sigma sorority as well as PRSSA. Her favorite part about PRSSA was the Networking in Nashville trip when PRSSA visited with alumni and heard about their experiences in the PR field. She is currently seeking a position in Advertising and/or Public Relations.

Emily Hudson served as Recruitment Chair during for 2023-24. Hudson graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations and a minor in Psychology. “Being in PRSSA has been such a fun experience here at Murray State,” Hudson said. “My favorite memory by far is when we got together with all the other JMC student organizations and had trivia night.” Hudson enters the Management Trainee program at Enterprise Mobility in Evansville, Indiana this June.

Thank you, PRSSA for all the fun times. Here’s to our graduating seniors!
